A sitting room is a room where people can relax and socialize. Lounge rooms are at times referred to as front room particularly when they are near the main entrance at the forward-facing part of the house. In many cases especially for big houses, a sitting room is a small room which is near a bedroom. However, for homes that lack a drawing room, a sitting room can function as a reception room. A living room contained furniture such as sofa, chairs, tables such as coffee tables, bookshelves, electric lamps, and other furniture. Conventionally, a lounge room has a fireplace. The fireplace was essential for heating purposes. The Living room had a floor which was covered with mats where people could sit on it during various occasions. In the past the front parlor of the house served as a room for formal social events. Moreover, Living rooms were used to lay, deceased people, as they wait for their funeral. These furniture are mostly kept in a house or other structure so as to make it appropriate and comfy for staying or working in.
A chair is a piece of furniture made of an elevated surface that is supported by legs, universally used to seat a lone person. Mostly, chairs are made of four legs with a back. In some cases, chairs can be made of three legs or have different shapes. Chairs are made of an extensive diversity of constituents, ranging from wood to metal to synthetic material such as plastic. Chairs are used in different rooms of homes, in schools and offices and also in various other workplaces. A chair that lacks a back or arms rests is referred to as a stool, and when raised up, is a bar stool. A cushion on the other hand refers to a member of furniture for seating three or more people, with or without arms, that is moderately or completely padded, and often tailored with springs and tailored cushions.
Though a couch is used principally for seating, it can also be used for sleeping. Normally, couches are situated in the family room, living room, and the lounge. Some of the areas that you can find the couches include non-residential, like hotels lobbies, and commercial offices. A chaise lounge, on the other hand, is a decorated sofa shaped like a chair that is long enough to support the legs. Conventionally, chaise lounge have been linked to psychoanalysis and countless psychoanalysts keep on using the chaises lounges in their offices for use in psychotherapy. In present French the chaise lounge can mean any long reclining chair such as a deckchair.
